Lucia Cordon is Editor-in-Chief of FLiP. Lucia is an Associate Director at Changing Our World where she contributes in a number of ways including data analysis, prospect identification and strategy formation as well as proposal and case development. Raised in Guatemala, Lucia earned a M.S. in Communications Management and a B.A. in Political Science and Journalism from Simmons College in Boston. Having a passion for writing and social development, Lucia enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures. During her free time, she is likely to be found roaming the city on a mission to find the best truffle fries!

Everett Case is a Content Editor for FLiP.  Everett is an Associate Director at Changing Our World.  He provides support for fundraising efforts including capital campaigns, feasibility studies, and prospect identification, outreach and cultivation.  A native of Washington, DC, Everett earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy, with a minor in Leadership Studies, from Williams College. Although he now lives in New York City, Everett remains an avid DC sports fan. When not working, he enjoys wandering around Manhattan in search of the best outdoor spaces.

Kate Amore is a Content Editor for FLiP. Kate currently works as an Associate Director at Changing Our World where she provides support for capital campaigns, feasibility studies, and other fundraising consulting and outsourcing projects. Like her fellow Flippers, Kate is passionate about working toward a better, more peaceful world through philanthropy, and is happy to do so by organizing FLiP happy hours. Kate is a proud graduate of Fairfield University and a native New Yorker. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, flea markets and finding the next best slice of pizza.

Irene Kelly is Social Media Coordinator, she is an Associate Director in the Interactive Services division of Changing Our World where she provides support in the creation and implementation of interactive strategies that raise funds, cultivate communities, and build awareness online for nonprofit causes. Originally from New Hampshire, Irene is a graduate of Catholic University with a degree in Anthropology.  Irene is brand new to New York after spending the last two years in Washington, DC as a Community Manager for the American Cancer Society. In her free time, Irene enjoys exploring New York and defending the Red Sox against the scores of Yankees fans.

Events

Sophie Morrison is Director of Outreach. She is an Associate Director at Changing our World where she serves a research and strategy support role.  This includes endless amounts of time immersed in excel spreadsheets sorting through data, corporate prospecting, and strategy formation.  Sophie was born and raised in London but moved to this side of the ocean to study at Princeton University where she read Sociology.  She is on the Young Advisory Board for Earth University, a nonprofit university in Costa Rica.   In her free time, Sophie loves going on road trips for the sake of a good drive through country roads

Grace Spangler is Director of Events.  Grace is an Associate Director at Changing Our World, where she works primarily with independent schools and colleges assessing fundraising operations and developing strategies for effective advancement programs and capital campaigns.  A native of New York’s Hudson Valley, she graduated from Fordham University with a degree in International Political Economy and Middle East Studies and spent two years as a Jesuit Alumni Volunteer at Cristo Rey New York High School.  In her down time, she enjoys trivia, swimming, and singing with the Young New Yorkers’ Chorus.

Maggie Riggs is the DC Coordinator for FLiP. As an Associate Director at Changing Our World, she provides support fundraising efforts including capital campaigns, prospect identification and research, prospect outreach and cultivation, feasibility studies, and other fundraising consulting and outsourcing projects in the Washington DC office.   Maggie Riggs is a native of Colorado and is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Management and Economics.  Her interests outside of Changing Our World and FLiP include exploring the Capital area and traveling.
